I'm so excited! Today I finished another chapter, and it wasn't an easy one. But God worded my mouth and it a great session. I decided to set a timer for atleast one hour to be sure I got some decent writing time in. Well 1 hour was a start. I actually went over! Tomorrow I will set my timer for 2 hours! : ) Here's an excerpt from today's writing in Chapter 7 Increased Faith(
Some of us think because we know God exists that we have faith. But in the book of James it says that even the demons believe that there’s a God, and they tremble. So simply believing that God exists and that he can do what he says he will is not faith. It’s simply you acknowledging a fact. And we all know that it is possible to believe something and acknowledge it as true but do not live our lives according to that truth. But with faith in God, you have to embrace it and live your life as though you believe. We cannot live in contradiction to our confessed faith, and expect to receive from God. Hebrews 11:1 says Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things “not” seen. In Hebrews 11:6 it says that without faith it is impossible to please God. So what does this tell us? It means, if we are going to live in faith, which is the foundation of a Christ centered life, we will always have to believe Him for something that we don’t have. Whether it be financial, physical, or emotional we will always need God for something..I need to brush up on my editing, the grammtics aren't tight yet in this chaper, but I"m just trying to get written then I'll go back and edit. This is a Christian Faith Based Book..for Inspiration and spiritual Guidance. Non ficition

Chan! This is awesome! I just set some writing goals for myself so this is great encouragement! I love to write, but I have mostly been doing poetry over the past few years. I want to venture off into fiction now, so we'll see! :-)
